India's record of winning from behind
It was the fourth occasion when India bounced back to clinch a Test series after losing the first one.
The Virat Kohli-led Indian side lost the first Test in Pune but went on to win the Bengaluru Test, draw the Ranchi Test and again win in Dharamsala to claim the series.
Earlier in 1972-73 India defeated England after going down in the opening Test. They did it for the second time during 2000-01 Test series against Australia and also during Test series against Sri Lanka in 2015.

India's purple patch in home season
India's 10 wins in this season is the joint second-most by any team in a single season.
Australia have done it twice so far. They have registered 11 wins in the 2005-06 season and won 10 games in the 1999-2000 season.

Jadeja wielded his 'sword' on six occasions
Ravindra Jadeja made six 50-plus scores in the 2016-17 season, the southpaw now has same number as Virat Kohli, Murali Vijay and KL Rahul.
Only Cheteshwar Pujara has made more such scores. He has done it 12 times.
