Bengaluru, June 10: Indian cricket team will travel to Zimbabwe next month to play 3 One Day Internationals and 2 Twenty20s, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced on Wednesday.
India are currently in Bangladesh for 1 Test and 3 ODIs. The Test match started today in Fatullah. The tour ends on June 24.
After this, India will travel to Zimbabwe and arrive in the African nation on July 7, former Zimbabwean captain and now ZC's Managing Director (Cricket) Alistair Campbell said.
"I can confirm that it's now a done deal. India are arriving on July 7 & will leave on the 20th, 3 ODIs & 2 T20s," the official twitter handle of ZC wrote quoting Campbell today.
"The schedule for the matches is almost done & should be released later this week. However, all the matches will be played in Harare," Campbell said.
"We are very pleased that @BCCI are coming & the fact that the @BLACKCAPS are coming just a week after India's departure," another tweet from ZC said.
India last toured Zimbabwe in 2013, where they whitewashed the hosts in under Virat Kohli's captaincy.
