“It's MNS style”: Movie theater manager thrashed in Pune
Pune, June 29: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers have reportedly thrashed a movie theatre manager in Pune over high prices of food items in the hall and not knowing how to read Marathi.
A CCTV footage of MNS workers slapping the theatre manager and carrying banners protesting against overpriced items being sold has also surfaced. MNS worker Kishor Shinde was involved in the incident.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Shinde brazenly defended his action, saying "We dealt with him in MNS style
"Popcorn worth Rs 5 is being sold at Rs 250, Bombay HC has already said reduction in price needed. We told manager to read news reports, he said don't know how to read Marathi. Then we dealt with him MNS style," he said.

The Bombay High Court (HC) had earlier questioned the state government over no policy on price regulation and asked as to why popcorn worth Rs 5 was being sold at Rs 250 in theatres and multiplexes.
This isn't the first time that MNS workers had been involved in such an incident. Last week, four MNS workers were booked, and out of them two were arrested for allegedly vandalising a restaurant in Mahim, Mumbai, said reports.
