Harish Dwivedi

Harish Dwivedi was born on October 22, 1973, in Basti to Sadhu Sharan Dube and Yashoda Devi. He is a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In 2014 and 2019, Harish Dwivedi secured victories in the Indian general elections, representing the Basti constituency under the BJP banner. His consistent performance and commitment to his constituents led to his nomination once again by the ruling party to contest the upcoming 2024 general elections from the same constituency.

Dwivedi's political journey is complemented by his leadership roles within the party. He currently serves as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) for the Uttar Pradesh unit. Notably, he actively participated in the Tiranga Yatra organised by the BJYM, led by Anurag Thakur, and was detained in Pathankot alongside other senior BJP leaders.
