Brazil's Rio de Janeiro will host Olympics 2016 from August 5 to 21. The quadrennial showpiece event, the biggest spectacle in sporting history, is set to witness more than 10,000 athletes from more than 200 member countries of the International Olympics Committee (IOC) in action. This is the first-ever Games to be held in South America. India will send its largest ever contingent with over 100 participants.
Rio Paralympics will be held from September 7 to 18.
