Shame: Cousin rapes sister for eight years in Panipat

Panipat, Nov 13: In a shocking incident of crime against women, a 17-year-old girl has alleged that she was repeatedly

by her cousin brother from last eight years.

According to a report, the sexual assault on the victim started eight years ago in Model Town area of Panipat, when she was just nine-year old. The accused cousin brother took the advantage of the victim's father, who was an alcoholic.

Victim's mother had died in 2006 and since then her father's mental condition deteriorated.

Victim mustered the courage to share her ordeal with her cousin sister.

The accused reportedly took undue advantage of the victim's family situations and repeatedly forced himself upon her.

He even threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the incident to anyone.

But few days ago, the victim mustered the courage to share her ordeal with her cousin sister.

Then, with her help, the victim approached the Model Town police station, where the case has been registered against the accused cousin.
