Bihar: Girl suffers burn injuries in acid attack
Khagaria, July 27: A minor girl sustained burn injuries in an acid attack on her at a village in Khagaria district of Bihar, police said today.
The 16-year-old girl was asleep in her house at Muskipur Kothi village when unidentified persons threw acid on her last night before escaping, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Kumar Sinha said.
She has sustained burn injuries on the back of her neck and left arm, he said.Sinha said the victim has been admitted to a private clinic.
A probe is on to find out the motive behind the acid attack, the DSP said.
