Why was Arvind Kejriwal barred from carrying his cell phone?
New Delhi, Aug 3: Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that he along with a few others were not permitted to carry their mobile phones into the Inter-State Council meet held last month.
There may be various reasons for this decision to be taken. However, a pointer to the reason as to why Kejriwal was not permitted to carry his cell phone, was given by Aam Admi Party MP Bhagwant Mann.
To a question by the committee probing Mann's live streaming of the Parliamentary security system on whether the two incidents were linked, Mann's reply was, "probably."
The committee had asked him if his live streaming was the reason why the Delhi CM was not permitted to carry his cell phone into the meet. To this Mann replied by said it could be the reason.
Mann is being probed by a committee after it had been found that he had live streamed the Parliament's security system. There was an uproar over this issue and a probe was ordered into the matter.
Mann according to the committee had continued to live stream the security system despite a security personnel telling him not to do so.
