IM used messaging site to plan blasts
New Delhi, Nov 6: After finding links between the Patna serial blasts and the blasts in Bodh Gaya, investigators are now saying that the Patna blasts and those in Bodh Gaya in Bihar were directed from Pakistan, where Riyaz Bhatkal is believed to be hiding.

According to reports, the investigators claim that they have intercepted several chats on instant messaging site Nimbuzz between Riyaz and Tehseen Akhtar.

Tehseen is said to be running the Indian Mujahideen group in India ever since, Yasin Bhatkal was arrested.

Investigators say that Riyaz was giving direct orders on terror strikes using the messaging site.

Earlier this week about 27 live bombs were found in Ranchi by the NIA, who were conducting raids in the region in order to look for suspect Haider Ali in connection with the Patna blasts.

Yasin Bhatkal, on the other hand had earlier told the interrogators that he did not know anything about the Bodh Gaya blasts and that the IM modules were working simultaneously on multiple instructions.
