Former BJP leader Jaswant Singh sustains head injury, admitted in ICU
According to initial reports, the former 76-year-old Union Minister slipped in his residence last night and sustained severe injuries in the head. He was then rushed to the RR Army Hospital for treatment.
Singh was expelled from the BJP early this year after he decided to contest the Lok Sabha polls from Barmer in Rajasthan as an Independent when the party decided to field someone else. He had lost the election.
One of the founders of the BJP, Jaswant Singh quit the party early this year after he was denied ticked to contest Lok Sabha polls.
He is now reported to be in the ICU where he is said to be in a critical condition.
