A thin crescent moon will pair very closely with Venus on Wednesday, Feb 26 morning. 'Lunar Occulation of Venus' hailed as one of the best celestial events of 2014, the moon will edge towards Venus starting from Tuesday and will eclipse it completely by Wednesday morning.
Earlier Lunar Occulation of Venus had occured in 2013. South Asia, China and Korea, along with the Australian and African continents, will see the occultation occur in the dawn sky before sunrise.
In India people can witness the sky marvel during the daytime on Feb 26.
