New Delhi, July 27: Rains continued to pound Delhi and the national capital, for the second consecutive day, witnessed water-logging and traffic snarls. Heavy rains lashed the capital overnight, contributing to waterlogging and traffic snarls at various places.

Meteorological department officials have forecast more heavy showers on Friday due to two rain-triggering systems - cyclonic circulation and the creation of a low-pressure area - in the region. The intensity of the rain will decrease on Saturday.
