New Delhi, July 3: The Delhi Police still has no concrete answer yet as to what happened to 11 members of the Bhatia family who were found dead on Sunday morning at Burari. As per reports, the last person to see the family members alive was the delivery boy who went to the Bhatai house to deliver an order of 20 rotis and collect Rs 200.

Delhi Burari deaths: Everything was normal, says delivery boy who saw the family last

According to Rishi, delivery boy who was the last person to see the 11-member-family which was found dead in Delhi's Burari on July 1 said that everything appeared to be normal.

Speaking to ANI, Rishi, delivery boy said,''They had placed an order for 20 rotis at 10:30 pm, I went to deliver it at 10:45 pm. Daughter took the order and asked her father to pay me. Everything was normal.''

While investigation reports until now indicate that Lalit, the younger of two sons was responsible for driving the family to commit mass suicide, relatives are still claiming that the family could have never practised occult sciences. They suspect foul play despite the police finding no evidence to indicate the same.

Meanwhile, the police had also found some hand-written notes during a search of the house, which, they said, suggest the family might have been observing some religious rituals.

Handwritten notes saying that "the human body is temporary and one can overcome fear by covering their eyes and mouth" were found at a house in north Delhi's Burari, where 11 members were found dead under mysterious circumstances this morning.

Eleven members of the family, including seven women and two children, were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their residence on Sunday. Ten of those dead were found hanging from an iron-mesh in the ceiling for ventilation, while the body of 77-year-old Narayan was lying on the floor in another room of the house.

The eyes and mouth of the 10 members, found hanging were covered with cloth and taped, while a 77-year-old woman, found dead on the floor, was not blindfolded, the police said, adding that the hands and feet of the children were tied.

However, the post-mortem of eight of the 11 people, who were found dead at their house in north Delhi's Burari locality, has revealed there were no signs of struggle and all of them died as a result of hanging.
