At present, the fares are Rs 25 for first Kilometers and thereafter Rs. 8 per Kilometer for every additional Kilometer.

Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal met representatives of autorickshaw unions on Monday and directed that a committee should be soon formed to decide on the revision of fares of autorickshaws in the capital. The last time the fares of autorickshaws were hiked was in 2013, said a TOI report.

Transport minister Kailash Gahlot confirmed that the Delhi government had considered the demands of auto-rickshaw unions that had agreed to hike fares, reported Hindustan Times.

Fares were last increased in May 2013 by the then Congress government led by Sheila Dikshit.
