Delhi assembly polls: BJP announces second list of candidates
The list of the seven candidates include former mayor Rajni Abbi and three sitting municipal councillors. Ram Kishan Singhal, Dhir Singh Bhiduri, Ramvir Singh Bhiduri are others who will be contesting the elections in December.
Reports suggested that the announcement of the candidates in the second list was delayed after the party witnessed protests and a series of resignations post the announcement of the first list of candidates.
Party yet to announce candidate for Nangloi Jat seat
Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel's close aide, Jagdish Pradhan will be contesting the elections from Mustafabad. Rampal Singh will be fielded from Seemapuri seat, which is known to be AAP's strong base.
The party will be fielding Guggan Singh from Bawana, Brahm Singh Tanwar from Chhattarpur, who had previously won the 1993 and 1998 polls from Mehrauli constituency.
The party is yet to announce a candidate from the Nangloi Jat seat.
