Bengaluru, Feb 10: Arvind Kejriwal has won the prestige battle against Narendra Modi in Delhi. This is a big feat for the man who lost badly against Modi from Varanasi in the Lok Sabha election last year. [History repeats itself in Dehi]

During the Lok Sabha election campaigning, Modi had even mocked Kejriwal as AK49, because of his 49-day stint as the chief minister between December 2013 and February 2014. [Can Kejriwal deliver on populism? Or will he soon start targetting the Centre?]

Kejriwal's 1st target should be 50 days

The AAP chief resigned as the CM all of a sudden saying his government could not force its way on issues like Jan Lokpal, leaving Delhi in doldrums. [Delhi election 2015 result updates]

Can he shed the AK49 tag now? Kejriwal will take oath on February 14 (incidentally it was the same date last year when he quit office) and going by the calender, April 14 will be the day when Kejriwal finishes 50 days in office. It won't be a rosy run for the man. For, given the massive win he has bagged (54% vote-share) and the fact that the AAP is comparatively a new party in the political circuits with not much expertise in governance, Kejriwal's task as an administrator will be doubly challenging.

However, so far so good for the party. And it must strive to survive 50 days first so that Kejriwal passes the invisible test of confidence.
