Delhi: 36 cows found dead in gaushala
New Delhi, July 27: At least 36 cows were found dead in a gaushala (cow shelter) in Delhi's Chhawla area. A day before two cows were found dead.
Police suspect that they have died due to the outbreak of some disease. A team of doctors are already on the spot.
A worker at the cowshed told ANI, "Water motor hasn't been working for past 2 days. No one listens to us. We try to do our best but no doctor is available for the cows."

Police were informed about the deaths of the cows at around 12.30 pm today. The cowshed has 1,400 cows and it is suspected that the 36 cows died due to "some disease", reported PTI.
Last month, 14 cows died under mysterious circumstances at Bal Gopal Gaushala in Punjab's Bathinda. The cows are alleged to have died after taking urea along with green fodder. The gaushala authorities, however, have not pointed needle of suspicion against anyone.
After the initial inspection, it seems that these cows died after eating poisonous feed.
