AAP provides Mumbai number to Delhiites for opinion on govt formation
It means the people of Delhi who want to express their opinions will have to pay more for a call or SMS, depending more on the service plans.
AAP sources said the cost was minor for it would bring a good govt
Not many are impressed with this. According to a Hindustan Times report, former chief secretary of Delhi Omesh Saigal wrote to Kejriwal saying even if one SMS/phone call costs Re 1, the total amount can go upto Rs 1 crore. Saigal, also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur like Kejriwal, asked whether it is justified to spend so much money so that a decision can be taken.
AAP sources in Delhi admitted that the number provided is a Mumbai one but said the cost was minor to bring in a better government. They also said that they put two numbers for the people to express their opinion by giving a missed call on either of them.
