AAP: Rival parties are trying to vandalise posters, banners
Party workers said that the autorickshaw drivers, who displayed the AAP posters were also being harassed and alleged that the Delhi police was the main culprit.
"It is clear that AAP has become a huge threat for other political parties and rather than acknowledging it, they are resorting to cheap tactics such as damaging AAP's hoardings and posters," said a party worker.
AAP alleges that 50% posters have been damaged or torn
The party worker went on to add that there seems to be a campaign against autorickshaws, which have the AAP posters. They drivers are being harassed regularly by authorities mainly the Delhi police.
Out of the 200 public spaces that bear the AAP posters, 50 per cent have been damaged or torn.
AAP workers said that only their party was being targeted because the posters of other political parties in the same locations remain untouched.
Earlier the Delhi police had rapped the AAP for putting posters in public areas and had taken them down.
