"Ravi was a BJP worker. Our preliminary investigation shows no case of rivalry for now. The family believes it to be a suspicious death and have filed a complaint. A case under sec 302 has been registered and an IPS officer has been appointed as the investigating officer in the case", said Ravi Chennannavar, SP, Mysuru.
The initial information that the police received was of an accident. The spot where Ravi's body was found was just about a kilometer and half away from the local police station. Scratch marks on the bike and marks on the road where Ravi's bike skid off have been recorded.
