Mumbai gangrape chargesheet filed, key evidence to be included
The Mumbai Police is filed its first chargesheet in a juvenile court on Thursday, which will have details such as the victim's ordeal, the forensic data collected by the teams, witnesses' statements, evidence collected from the spot and other details.
The police are likely to include even the phone records and identification parade information too in the chargesheet.
Police officials claim that they have sufficient evidence to nail all the five accussed, including the minor.
Police claim sufficient evidence against the accused
The victim and her friend had earlier identified the minor in an identification parade as one of the accused. Even the accused had confessed to their crime and admitted that they were involved in similar crimes in the past but always managed to away.
The photojournalist, along with a male colleague had gone for an assignment to the Shakti Mills compound on August 22, where she was approached by the accused and was gangraped by them.
