Kolkata, May 21: Mamata Banerjee, chief minister-designate of West Bengal who will take oath on May 27, met the newly elected MLAs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) which swept this year's Assembly election at her residence here on Friday (May 20). [Mamata is Bengal's biggest brand today]

Banerjee, though was happy with the overall result but amid all the good talks, she also warned her own party members that she would not tolerate things like sabotage and feuds in the party. A number of internal problems had created problems for the top leadership in this election though Banerjee overcame all challenges to see her party win 211 of the 294 Assembly seats. One of Banerjee's target was MP Dinesh Trivedi, feel the observers. Though she did not take any name, but Trivedi's open criticism of the party in the wake of the Narada allegations has not impressed the supremo, it was said. The latter said the party will not tolerate it if its veteran MPs or leaders speak against their party in the middle of an election. Insiders feel it is just a matter of time before Trivedi faces the music.

Trivedi was removed as the railway minister by Banerjee in 2012 after he suggested a hike in railway fare in that year's budget. The MP from Barrackpore did not either campaign in this election.

The TMC supremo was also not happy with the loss of two ministers from Malda---Sabitri Mitra and Krishnendu Narayan Chowdhury and alleged that infight in the district has cost the party. The TMC also failed to win a single seat in Darjeeling district, where former Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia lost to veteran CPI(M) leader Asok Bhattacharya.

She also sought internal probe in other constituencies where the party did average or lost.

Banerjee, however, did not forget to congratulate the winners.
