You don’t need 8 women twerking around you, Barack Obama advises youngsters

Washington, Feb 22: Former US president Barack Obama continues to be a busy man even it's two years since his final term in the White House got over.

From attending children in hospital on Christmas Day to participating in the funeral prayer of one of his predecessors, Obama is there all over, letting the world know that he is still a socially responsible citizen.

The same was reiterated recently at the MBK Rising in Oakland, California, where Obama gave some important advice to young men on how to carry themselves well and how it spoke a lot about one's sexuality.

The event was the national convening of My Brother's Keeper Alliance , which was launched by the former president in the wake of the success of his administration's My Brother's Keeper initiative.

Speaking on the occasion at Town Hall, the 57-year-old leader said if a man is confident about his own sexuality, he won't need several women twerking around him.

"If you are confident about your sexuality, you don't have to have eight women around you twerking," Obama said, receiving a wide round of applause. He also said that people didn't have to flaunt their wealth if they are confident about their financial status and the same applied to other things as well.

The Democratic politician also cited his personal life to strengthen his point. He said he is happy to be in love with just woman who is his wife Michelle Obama, also a popular figure in the US.

"I mean why are you all seem stressed that you got be acting that way. Because I've got one woman, who I'm very happy with."

The event was moderated by NBA star Stephen Curry.

The MKB Alliance works on bringing together young men of colour and leaders who are trying to break down social barriers. This year, the convention saw eminent personalities like John Legend and Michael B Jordan among others to motivate youngsters.
