Xi’s Pakistan visit: Know about deals to be signed
Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Islamabad on historic visit on Monday. This is the first visit by a Chinese president to Pakistan after nine years. These are main things likely to be happened during the visit.
*China and Pakistan will conclude a number of important agreements and memorandum of understandings (MoUs) worth billions of dollars.
*These MoUs will be related to key development projects in the infrastructure, energy and communication sectors under the ambit of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
*Important agreements related to other areas will also be signed on the occasion.
*The visit of Chinese President Xi Jingping will also herald the launching of the multibillion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.

*Long-awaited economic corridor project would open a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries.
*The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the three Services Chiefs will also call on the President of China during his visit to Islamabad.
*Chinese President Xi Jinping, bearing promises of more than $45bn in infrastructure investment in Pakistan.
*Economic and military ties between both the countries will be strengthened.
*Pakistan and China is exploring ways and means to further strengthen their bilateral relations besides exchange of views on important regional and global issues.
*A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Punjab Government and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
*Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) , the largest bank in the world and Zonergy Corporation will look into the possibility of setting up economic zones in Pakistan.
