World Economic Forum: Here's the day-by-day guide to Davos 2018

Davos gets underway in earnest on Tuesday with addresses from the leaders of India and Canada, as well as a session on ending sexual harassment.

The five-day World Economic Forum (WEF) affair seems to be bigger this year. The forum began on Tuesday with addresses from the leaders of India and Canada, as well as a session on ending sexual harassment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Superstar Shah Rukh Khan addressed the delegates on the opening day.

Shah Rukh Khan received the Crystal Awards on the eve of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The award celebrates the achievements of leading artists who are bridge-builders and role models for all leaders of society.

Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister to attend the World Economic Forum after 20 years. HD Deve Gowda was the last prime minister to the summit in 1997.
