Woman bought ‘cheap’ ring worth Rs 925 years ago; finds it actually costs Rs 6.8 crore!
London, Feb 9: She didn't buy a lottery per se but she found out that her possession was no less rewarding.
Debra Goddard recently bought a ring from a sale for only £10 pounds (Rs 925) but eventually found that it was actually diamond ring worth £7,40,000 (Rs 6.8 crores)!
In fact, she had been using the ring for over three decades but never had any idea about its real value until a jewellery expert examined it and told her that it contained 26.27 carat diamond, UK-based LADbible said in a report.
The woman, however, did not use the ring for past several years and kept in a jewellery box for a decade and half. She took it out of the shelf only recently for the purpose of sale after her mother lost all her money to fraudulence.

Goddard only had s mall expectation of getting a few dollars by selling her possession but was soon in for shock when the expert told her the real price of the ring.
Learning it was diamond, Goddard sat up the entire night thinking what she would do with it, she told The Sun, UK.
She finally decided to auction it off and earned a whopping amount yet after paying the auction costs.
With the money, Goddard not only bought gifts for her 72-year-old mother but also set up a vintage jewellery company.
