When pilot opens locked toilet door with axe
London, Aug 8: A pilot was forced to use an axe to open the toilet door of a Nextjet's flight after a drunk passenger refused to leave the cubicle.
The passenger who was in his 50s locked himself inside the bathroom 10 minutes landing, reported BBC.
The Nextjet's flight from Stockholm was due to land in the northern town of Ornskoldsvik on Wednesday.
Captain had to intervene in the matter when he refused to return to his allocated seat even after several attempts made by crew members.
The captain grabbed the axe and used it to pry open the door so he could remove the man.

"He definitely did not smash down the door, it's not as dramatic as one might think," said police.
The passenger was not taken into custody, but is suspected of violating Swedish aviation laws.
He could face a fine or up to six months in prison if convicted.
