When a cheeky 3-year-old girl stole the Pope's hat

The incident happened when the Pope leaned in for a kiss her on the cheek she reached up and took his cap, known as a zuchetto in Italian.

Three-year-old Estella Westrick hilariously stealing a skullcap from Pope Francis is already doing rounds on the internet. Estella Westrick and her entire family were standing in a line to see the Pope Francis in Rome.

The incident happened when the Pope leaned in for a kiss on her cheek she reached up and took his cap, known as a zuchetto in Italian.

It happened so fast that the Estella's dad could not stop her from stealing the skullcap.

The Pope immediately burst into laughter, as he reclaimed his hat and put it back on. The video footage of the funny encounter was later shared on Twitter by Mountain Butorac where it was liked over 5,000 times.

This isn't the first time, In 2013, a child took the his white zucchetto while being held by the Pope at the Vatican.
