US Prez poll 2016: Ted Cruz wins most delegates in Wyoming conventions
Washington, March 13: Texas Senator Ted Cruz had a good day in office on Saturday (March 12) as he won the most number of delegates in the Republican county conventions in Wyoming.

Cruz, who is trailing Donald Trump, the front-runner in this year's race for the GOP nomination, pocketed nine out of 12 delegates at stake. Trump and Florida Senator Marco Rubio won one delegate each while one was uncommitted.
Another 14 of the state's delegates will be awarded at the party's convention on April 16.
Cruz won 644 votes (66.3 per cent) while Rubio got 189 votes (19.5 per cent). Trump got 70 votes (7.2 per cent) while John Kasich got no votes.
Guam conventions see Cruz get one delegate:
The Republicans in Guam also held a presidential convention on Saturday which saw one delegate going to Cruz. However, the remaining eight delegates were uncommitted, said former Republican chairman Mike Benito.
It was said that the uncommitted delegates will meet on Tuesday (March 15) to decide whether to back any of the candidates.Eddie Calvo, the governor of Guam, was the only delegate to back a candidate. He is known to be the chairman of Cruz's local campaign.
Delegate count:
Trump now leads the race with 460 delegates followed by Cruz (369), Rubio (153) and John Kasich (54).
To get nomination, a Republican candidate needs 1,237 delegates.
