Trump's new travel ban blocked by court
A federal judge in Hawaii has blocked US president Donald Trump's new travel ban. The order came up hours before the ban was set to go into effect. The judge in the 43-page ruling said that in no uncertain terms can the new executive order failed to pass legal muster at this stage and the state had established "a strong likelihood of success" on their claims of religious discrimination, CNN reported.
Trump was quick to react and called it bad and sad news. The order he blocked was a watered down version of the first one, Trump also said.
As a result of this ruling which is applicable in the entire nation travellers from six Muslim-majority countries -- Iran, Libya, Somalina, Sudan, Syria and Yemen who will be able to travel to the US.
