Paris, April 1: Amid several disturbing updates on Germanwings crash and co-pilot Andreas Lubitz, a media report claimed that a Ducth pilot had predicted a similar kind of plane crash two months before tragedy.

The Dutch pilot, who has been identified as Jan Cocheret, a Boeing 777 pilot for the Emirates airline, reportedly had written an article for the Dutch flying magazine Piloot en Vliegtuig (Pilot and Plane). [Harrowing mobile phone video recovered from Germanwings wreckage]

In the article, Jan Cocheret reportedly wrote about his fear of returning to a locked cockpit door. He wrote, "I seriously sometimes wonder who's sitting next to me in the cockpit."

"How can I be sure that I can trust him? Perhaps something terrible has just happened in his life and he's unable to overcome it," he wrote in his article. [Co-Pilot had suicidal tendencies, say medical reports]

The Dutch pilot also wrote, There indeed does exist a way to get back into the cockpit, but if the person inside disables this option (the security code to get in), one could do nothing but sit with the passengers and wait and see what happens."

Unfortunately, the Dutch pilot's fears came true as 28-year-old Andreas Lubitz, the co-pilot of ill-fated Germanwings, locked his captain out of the Airbus A320's cockpit when he went to the toilet and descended the plane, killing all 150 passengers and crew on board. After the horrible plane crash, the Dutch pilot was shocked to find out that the terrible scenario, which he had predicted once, has become a reality now.
