Reject as inadmissible, Pakistan tells ICJ in Kulbhushan Jadhav case

The Hague, Feb 22: Pakistan has urged the International Court of Justice to dismiss or declare as inadmissible, the claim made by India seeking relief for Kulbhushan Jadhav. The four day oral submissions at the ICJ have now come to a close.

Pakistan also went on to state that Pakistan's courts are extremely independent. This submission came in response to India's claim that the military courts in Pakistan do not have officers with judicial expertise and experience.

Pakistan's counsel, Khawar Qureshi said that India's claim for relief must be dismissed. India's claim for relief remains far fetched, the counsel also added.

In his closing arguments, Pakistan's Attorney General, Anwar Mansoor Khan said that the military court in Pakistan works according to the Constitution. While seeking to dismiss the case, he also said that Nadia seeks relief which they cannot claim from this court.
