Prostitution ring busted in China, 21 held
The suspects were part of a criminal ring that abducted women from China, took them to Taiwan and forced them into prostitution, Xinhua cited the ministry as saying.
Six women were rescued in the operation.
Of the suspects, 19 are from Taiwan and two are from the China.
The suspects began forcing women into prostitution in November 2012.
Police in southeast Fujian province and their counterparts across the Taiwan Strait completed the raid on Tuesday (Sept 17).
