PM Modi in UAE: Iconic buildings light up in colours of Indian flag
Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame Adnoc building and Emirates Palace were covered in colours of India's tri-colours, on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, the headquarters of state-owned oil company Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the building hailed as the world's largest picture frame, Dubai Frame, were seen glittering in the colours of the Indian flag, a day before the Prime Minister's scheduled arrival in the country.
India's ambassador to the UAE, Navdeep Suri, termed the gesture as "gracious".
