Pakistan Radio gets Jinnah's speech recordings
Last year Pakistan government had requested for the transfer of the recordings and confirming this Javed Khan Jadoon, head of current affairs at Pakistan Radio, said that he had spoken to the director general, All India Radio and thanked him for this gesture of goodwill.
India has decided to handover more Jinnah's recordings to Pakistan.
The two Jinnah's speeches were recorded on June 3 and Aug 11, 1947 and Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) is planning to air these speeches after checking the quality and authenticity next week, local media reports.
The following recorded speech had Jinnah declaring Pakistan as a secular state while addressing Pakistan's constituent assembly.
The Daily Times quoted that India has agreed to hand over the more recorded material of Jinnah to Radio Pakistan and PBC.
