One killed as car crashes into Marseille bus stop in France, driver arrested
One person was dead after car hits people at Marseille bus stop in France. Suspected driver has been arrested, said France police to a news agency.
A 42-years-old woman was killed in the crash in the Red Cross district of the city, according to The Sun. Another person was left seriously injured.
According to British media, two bus shelters were hit in the collision. Emergency services are on the scene. French prosecutors say the case is not being treated as a terrorist incident.
Agence France Press news agency said that one person was dead, citing police sources.
The incident in France comes on the heels of ISIS terrorists attack in Barcelona which left 13 people dead and 100 others injured.
France has lost more than 230 lives in the past two years in attacks by Islamist militants.
