9.35 am: People in Nice used social media to try and find people who went missing after the terror attack. One story that has come to the fore is of a woman who posted on Facebook about her eight-month-old baby gone missing. Later she updated her Facebook post saying the baby had been found.

8.15 am: A law will be submitted to parliament next week to extend the emergency imposed in France by three more months. the emergency was to end on 26th of July.
8.10 am: French President: Extremists hate human rights, which is why they attacked France when it was celebrating its core values.
8.07 am: French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve has said 80 people are now known to have died and 18 people are in a critical condition.
8.06 am: The operation in which 10,000 extra military personnel are supporting non-military security forces in France during the state emergency, has been extended in time and scale. Many will be sent now to France's borders.
8.00 am: NICE attacker is a 31 year old man of Tunisian origin.
7.55 am: Over 150 people were also injured in the mayhem following Nice Attack.
7.51 am: French President said that France is horrifed but France is strong, and France will always be stronger I assure you.
7.50 am: French President Hollande will travel to Nice shortly "to support the city and its representatives at this time of need". He added during the press conference that France is badly hit by this tragedy.
