ISIS broadcasts threat message on radio in Afghanistan
Kabul, Jan 21: The Islamic State (ISIS) militants used radio to broadcast the threat messages among people living in rural Afghanistan, media reported.
These messages were broadcasted during a discussion program on "Voice of the Caliphate, media reported.
The ‘Voice of the Caliphate', launched by the ISIS in December last year, is managed by one of the extremist group's newest affiliates in Afghanistan's Khorasan Province, the Indian Express reported.
They use this radio station to recruit militants for the group.
This radio station can be heard across Nangarhar on an FM frequency for 90 minutes a day in both the Pashto and Dari languages.
Programs include news, interviews, vitriol against the Afghan government and the Taliban, recruitment propaganda, and devotional music in multiple languages.

The group has created havoc since establishment of its caliphate. ISIS has executed thousands of civilians, including children, women, by shooting, beheading, stoning, throwing from high places and burning.
