Indian man assaulted in New Zealand; told 'go back to your country'

The incident happened last week during a road rage incident

Another attack on an Indian has come to light when an Indian-origin man was abused and subjected to racial slurs in New Zealand. Narindervir Singh, from New Zealand sworn at, abused and spat at and was told to 'go back to his country'. He was also subjected to a racist tirade and assaulted during a road rage incident.

Singh filmed the entire episode while sitting in his vehicle when it happened last week. The abuser was tailgating Narindervir, and when he was told that the video was being uploaded live, the situation escalated to more abusing.

Newshub quoted Narindervir stating, "It really shocked me and after he [left], I was really shaken. I don't know what to do, it really hurts my heart...The first thing in my mind was that he might hurt me with some weapon."

It may be recalled that on February 24, an Indian engineer was shot dead in Kansas, after being mistaken for an Arab. The shooter had yelled, "get out of my country," before he shot him.
