Indian envoy to Pakistan meets Imran khan

Islamabad, Aug 10: Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria and Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh met Prime Minister-elect Imran Khan on Friday. The meeting was said to be a courtesy call.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's parliamentary committee on August 6 officially nominated Imran Khan as the party's prime ministerial candidate.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party and its allies on Thursday announced that they have secured over 180 seats in the National Assembly.

The PTI said it crossed the magical figure of 172 with the help of its coalition partners including Muttahida Qaumi Movement and several independently elected members, who joined the party in the days following the July 25 general elections.
