Health issue hits Melania Trump just when she started to become a busy FLOTUS

By Shubham

Just when she started to show her more busy face as the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), Melania Trump has been hit by health ailment. The 48-year-old was hospitalised following a treatment of kidney condition which is benign, the White House informed on Monday, May 14.

Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump's spokesperson, said the embolization process was successful.

Trump is undergoing the treatment at Walter Reed National Military Military Center in Washington DC and is likely to remain there for a week.

The White House, however, did not divulge further details about the FLOTUS's conditions, reports said.

Trump recently launched her "Be Best" initiative for children's development though her speech related to it was accused of plagiarising one given by former first lady Michelle Obama.

Trump was initially hesitant to shift base from New York to Washington DC since it would mean midyear changing of school of Barron, her son with US President Donald Trump. They eventually shifted to the White House in June 2017 and the FLOTUS now is being seen working on improving her public profile.

In April, she accompanied the president to host Shinzo Abe, the prime minister of Japan, at the Trumps' Florida estate for a two-day summit while she personally took care of the preparations for the first state dinner that the Trump presidency saw in the honour of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.

She also represented the current presidency at the funeral of former first lady Barbara Bush where a number of former presidents were also present.
