The clip, said to be just a few seconds long, was reportedly taken from a memory card which was found at the crash scene by a source close to the investigation.

According to German daily Bild and French magazine Paris Match who claim to have seen the footage, cries of 'oh God' can be heard in several different languages as chaos breaks out inside the cabin.

Sound of metallic banging from inside the aircraft has also been heard in the video, claimed daily.

Bild said it was just 'a few seconds' and that it is not clear whether a passenger or crew member had filmed it.

In the latest development, investigator into the Germanwings crash has called for anyone with footage of the disaster to hand it over to the authorities.

However, French prosecutor Brice Robin said he was not aware of the video, reported by German and French media, showing the last seconds before the crash, BBC reported citing AFP on Wednesday.
