Four killed as car explodes outside Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia
Riyadh, May 29: At least four people were killed on Friday after a car exploded outside a Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia, media reported.
According to media reports, a car exploded outside the Shia mosque in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, but authorities said militants failed in their bid to hit the mosque itself.
It seems attackers wanted to target worshippers in al-Anoud mosque during Friday prayers.
The incident comes one week after a suicide bomber detonated himself at another Shiite mosque in Saudi Arabia on May 22 that claimed lives of over 20 people and left injured scores during the Friday prayers.
