Cub of Caliphate: Young boy seen beheading Syrian soldier
London, July 18: Islamic State (ISIS) militants have released a video showing a young boy beheading a Syrian soldier.
ISIS has started using children for its gruesome brand of propaganda, The Independent reported.
A minor boy was filmed killing the prisoner under the guidance of an older militant near ancient city of Palmyra in Syria.
According to reports, this was the first ISIS beheading by a child. Earlier the group used minors to execute captives by shooting them.
The beheading boy named "cub of caliphate" is dressed in camouflage and a black headdress with his face uncovered.
The child forces the captive soldier of in Bashar al-Assad's army to lie on his front so he can pull his head back and cut it off with a small knife.
He then holds up the decapitated head and puts it on the victim's dead body in a pose often seen after ISIS brutal murders.
The senior militant addresses the camera to threaten the so-called Islamic State's takeover of the world's great holy sites in Rome and Jerusalem.
