China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to intensify brutality in Balochistan, says Baloch leader
Islamabad, Dec 7: A Baloch leader in Pakistan has termed the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor a conspiracy to divide the Baloch people.
"Pakistan-China Economic Corridor is a conspiracy to convert the majority Baloch into a minority in Balochistan. The Baloch nation will stand against it and if God wills, we will fail it," said Baloch independence leader and commander of Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) Dr Allah Nazar.
"They have turned Blaochistan into a slaughter house, saif BLF chief.

the
Pakistan
government
for
the
CPEC
project.

The idea was first proposed by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, during a visit to Pakistan in May 2013, but didn't really gain steam until after China unveiled its much more ambition plans for an inter-continental Silk Road in the fall of 2013.
The projects will give China direct access to the Indian Ocean and beyond.
