London, March 14: With the UK showing no signs of improvement in its Brexit imbroglio, the European Union (EU), it seems, is also leaving London to fend for itself. The office of European Council president Donald Tusk said that the EU had "done all that is possible to reach an agreement".

"Given the additional assurances provided by the EU in December, January and yesterday, it is difficult to see what more we can do. If there is a solution to the current impasse, it can only be found in London," Tusk's office said.

On Tuesday, March 12, the Conservative government lost a second voting on the Brexit deal which spoke on how the UK would part ways with the EU on March 29. The EU though agreed to slightly change the deal compared to the one that bit the dust in a voting in January, it yet couldn't convince the parliamentarians to accept it. The deal witnessed a loss by a lesser margin compared to the thrashing loss it faced in January but yet it was a loss.

On Wednesday, March 13, the UK parliament was set for another voting on whether to go for a no-deal Brexit - something that Prime Minister Theresa May opposed. A third voting is also set to occur on Thursday, March 14, on whether to seek a delay in enacting Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty under which a member of the EU can withdraw from the body.
