The council took up the issue after the mural, showing the Democratic nominee wearing a revealing swimsuit printed with American flag colours with $100 notes tucked into it, annoyed the local residents. The council described the mural as "offensive" because it violated its stand on gender equity.

Earlier, Lushsux, the painter who made the mural, had his Instagram account suspended temporarily after he had posted his artwork on it. In protest, Lushlux added those dollar notes in the swimsuit.

This is not the first time that Lushsux has made full use of artistic freedom while making murals of top leaders. In the past, he has also made paintings of American Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his wife Melania with little clothes on.
