They exchanged vows in old age
Buenos Aires, Oct 18: They are living example of the saying ‘it's never too late to get married' and got married to each other after 80 years of partnership.

Jose Manuel Riella, 103, married his partner, Martina Lopez, 99, in a religious ceremony in Santa Rosa del Aguaray, north east of Asuncion. The marriage was attended by their family except two of them.

They had married fifty years back in a civil ceremony, but never got a chance to have a traditional religious marriage. "My children asked us why we didn't get married, what are you waiting for they asked?" said Lopez.

The bride was dressed in a traditional white gown whereas the groom wore a smart dress- shirt for the ceremony.

The couple had married 50 years back in a civil ceremony

The wedding was attended by their elaborate family of 8 children (two of which couldn't come), 50 grand children, 35 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great- grandchildren.

The couple was seen holding hands as they priest went on with the service. While exchanging rings, the couple needed a little help from their family members.
