Horrific: Angry man pours boiling water over colleague’s head, gets jail term
Wellington, Apr 13: A man in New Zealand has been jailed for five-and-a-half-years for pouring boiled water over his colleague's head, media reported.
According to report, 28-year-old Kian-Wee Show poured boiling water over his colleague Bin Wu's head after he stole half of his girlfriend's hot dog.
The horrific incident took place at food company Turners and Growers in Whakatu on New Zealand's South Island in July last year, reported the Stuff.co.nz.
Show, a Malaysian national on a work visa, pleaded guilty to one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mr Wu said: "The day before there had been a sliced sausage in the cafeteria ... I had taken the last slice.
"I didn't think anyone had had taken that seriously. Not me, none of the other workers ... I don't know what's happening in this guy's mind."
