New Delhi, Mar 11: The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into force immediately after the Election Commission announced the dates for 2019 Lok Sabha elections on Sunday (March 10). Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said model code of conduct for polls has come into immediate effect from Sunday and all political advertisements on social media will need pre-certification.
